Induction heating explained
An induction furnace passes alternating current through a coil, creating a magnetic field that induces currents directly in the metal. The metal heats itself from within — quickly and evenly.
Why induction reduces metal loss
Because heating is rapid and the metal spends less time exposed to air, oxidation and burn-off are lower than in slower, flame-based methods. More of your gold reaches the mould.
Temperature control for a clean pour
Accurate, adjustable control delivers the correct pour temperature on every melt. Too cold and the metal won’t fill; too hot and you risk defects. Consistent temperature means consistent castings.
